SBA writing for high quality items testing beyond recall
This series of 3 workshops is designed for healthcare professions educators who want to learn about and improve their skills in writing and reviewing SBAs (Single Best Answer items). It is suitable not only for beginners but also experienced item writers who want to expand their skills in writing in more ‘difficult’ areas.
The faculty have over 25 years of item writing expertise, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as for numerous healthcare licensing bodies, in the UK, Australia and internationally.
Sessions:
1. 26 April 2027: Best practice in writing high quality SBAs
2. 3 May 2027: Writing practice
3. 10 May 2027: Reviewing SBAs
Each session starts at 0800 UK time and lasts for 2 hours
